Participant Registration

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

Participation is open to all local authors, book and paper artists, bookmakers, publishers, literary groups, and Kensington community organizations.

  • Payment must be received before registration is accepted.
  • Participation is open to authors, book artists and illustrators, publishers, literary groups, and Kensington community organizations. All others please refer to our Sponsor information.
  • Registration deadline is April 1st, 2016. Registrations may be accepted after April 1st if there is space available but registrations received after April 1st cannot be guaranteed a listing on the festival website. 
  • Early bird deadline is  February 15th, 2016
  • Registration fee is non-refundable. The festival is held rain or shine.
  • Participants can bring their own 10 x 10 folding canopy (with weights) or share a large tent with other participants. Shared tent spaces are approx 5 feet wide at the front, by 10 feet deep.
  • Participants can bring their own folding table and chairs (maximum table width of 4 feet unless you are bringing your own canopy) or one table and two chairs are available to rent for an additional $15 (limited number available).

Sign-up Instructions
1) Download the information and sign up form here: ParticipationForms2016

2) Open the file
– Fill out the relevant information and check the relevant boxes.
– SAVE the file as “ParticipationForms2016_Yourlastname.pdf” (Please do not save as a jpeg or an image file.)

4) Preferred method is to email the filled-out pdf file along with the requested image files to: kensingtonbookfestival16@gmail.com
-Please put your name in the “Subject”

5) If you cannot send the form via email, print out the completed form and mail to: Kensington Book Festival 3786 Howard Ave, Kensington Md 20895 (Don’t forget to email your photo for your listing if needed!)

– To pay via paypal, please go to paypal.com. The festival account email is DayoftheBookPayment@gmail.com

  • If you prefer to pay by check, mail it along with the name you signed up under to: Kensington Book Festival, 3786 Howard Ave, Kensington Md 20895

You should receive confirmation of your payment and registration within a few days of receipt.
